Default No Check Engine Light. HELP needed!

Right - I have had my car for knocking a year now and have never seen the check engine light EVER! Now Im led to believe that it should come on when you turn the ignition on. All I get is this

Im not sure where on the panel it should show. Im starting to think that somebody has removed the bulb in the past to possibly hide any known faults when selling the car on, so I took the cluster out completely

Can somebody please tell me where the engine check light is on the panel or tell me what bulb it is on the back of the cluster!?

Thanks

Tucker
