Where do you plumb the return back to?

Yes lol.. ok, say you attach the recerc to your pipe going from your intercooler to your inlet, where do you feel the other side of the recerc pipe to... does that make sense?

Ok I'm a little confused. i think we may have got ourselves a muddled.

The recirc DV goes inline with the pipe from the boost side/intercooler and the inlet.

so you blank the pipe to the inlet and fit the DV to the boost side.

now if you want to return back to recirc you just remove the blank to the inlet and put the recirc back inline.

Does this help?

you blank the pipe that goes into the block area ie the return (small piece of pipe and a bung) you connect your dump valve to the intercooler and the smallest pipe fits on the end and goes into the inlet.

not a front mount but should give you an idea.

back to origional one when you get fed up with the sound.

shaggy6 you will have a bung in place because the vta valve does not have a return, as you look at the engine bay at the back on the right hand side below the front of the intercooler you will find a blanked off pipe (it is only small) i had one on mine but as i say i got fed up with the noise so have changed back to the recirc one, i'm also going down the front mount at the moment you just need a load more pipe when using the recirc one. if you get stuck i'm sure if you post where you live someone on here will offer to show you on the car. (im based in manchester).
