ECU Location?

Hi,

I've an MY03 STI and I need to wire in an AVCR. Can someone point me in the direction of where the ECU is? I know it's under the dash but not sure which side to start looking.

In the passenger footwell, under the carpet there is a metal plate and under this is where the ECU lives.
