any ideas on this one?

Driving yesterday and if you floor it in fifth the boost fluctuates between 1.2 - 0.8 about a second between the two.

In fourth the fluctuation is present but only just noticeable - fine through all the other gears.

Its a MY99UK, prodrive pack, decat, 107K

Its probably your decat causing the issue. The PPP shouldnt boost more than 1.1 bar then it looks like it drops it back to .8 so your overboosting, ppp ecu's dont like decats, 2 options open to you, get a normal ecu/remap or drill the restrictor plug out a little (think its from .9mm to 1.1mm) that will stop the overboosting

could also be the maf, i had ppp on 1 of my00 it was also decatted with no probs. Boost went up and down, fitted new maf all was fixed.

 

You wont notice the engine detting itself into oblivion without a knocklink though plus its also boost related, hitting 1.3 bar on a decatted PPP ecu isnt good hence I saw mine on the knocklink
