Default My first new age - quick question please

I've just bought my first new age (05 WRX) and although the rest of the car is completely standard in every way, for some reason, the one previous owner (who was an old dude too) must have had a forge recirc valve fitted!

OK, its no chav horn and the car runs and pulls lovely through the revs, but would there be any benefit to grabbing a factory valve from Subaru dealers? Am i risking anything by leaving the Forge recirc on?

I believe its an FMDVSUB03. Definitely NOT atmospheric thank god...

Any help appreciated and opinions welcomed

Bing.

Your definatly not risking anything leaving the recirc on, maybe if it was a atmospheric one i would say put back to standard if your not bothered about the noise as they mess with the air/fuel ratio.

Thanks for the reply. I wont bother getting a quote for the factory recirc then if the forge recirc is doing no harm.

Cheers Rent

Haha, I think the previous owner was a fair bit older than you! Not got any pics taken as yet. I'll take some before too long i should think. I know the car was purchased from Triangles in Chesterfield though and had ALL its services done there until now.
