1998 subaru impreza 2.0 sport missfires under acceleration when cold but it runs fine when warm ANY IDEAS ? thx in advance

probably you leads mate or coil packs packing up, could also be plugs. Misfire = missed spark.. Could also be a fuel delivery issue. Im sure the 98 cars use individual coilpacks.. get these checked, also a faulty coolant temp sensor has been known to cause misfires..
