Default hot idle issue with simtek?

Just really wondered if anyone had experienced a similar issue.

Had my car in for an mot on sat. passed as expected. The car was idleing for quite some time. i would have thought at least and hour. Intake temps were very hot high 60's measured at intercooler. The idle speed increased to around 1500rpm and remained there until i had driven the car and got the temps back down. I also switched the anti lag on while it was hot and this gave me an idle of 4000rpm where id normally expect 1500ish.

All is ok now and has been since the temps got down to about below 25.

Why should a top mount make a difference to the idle speed? Its been that hot before on the o/e ecu and it didnt all of a sudden alter the idle speed.

I would prefer a front mount to be honest but i havent been able to get a difinative answer on how much of my prodrive bumper i loose.
