Ive got mine mounted into the intercooler. Just drilled and tapped a thread in it. Ofcourse it depends on what setup your running. Frontmount? topmount?

Close to the throttle body is best. I tapped a thread and used a bit of lock tight on thread.

On my old car i took my intercooler pipe to a local ally welding place and they welded a threaded boss into the FMIC piping close to the inlet manifold, cost about £20.
Didn't want to just drill a tap the pipe work as it it so thin.
