Hi i had the CEL light come on the other day a couple of days after fitting my dump valve. The code came up as to running lean. I have noticed that when you put you hand over the trumpet (where the air comes out) there is air sucking in - is this normal??? Can it be fixed or do i need a new dump valve? I bought the valve of ebay so don't know the make - it just vents to atmosphere thru a trumpet thing.

Don't want to drive it till i get this sorted.

 

Are you 100% sure you have connected the right way? Post some pics up.
