No reversing lights but bulbs are ok ?

No reversing lights but bulbs are ok ?
As above, my 02 WRX reversing lights have stopped working ? Checked the bulbs are okay and checked the fuse (Number 18 ?) Any suggestions please ?

switch has gone open circuit or the wires have broken in the loom!!!

Now the lights are occasionally coming on ! soon as I take my hand off the gearstick they go off again !
