Exclamation WRX Engine problems HELP!

Right am new on here i have just bought a 2004 WRX with 40.000 miles

Now it has a problem which started yesterday as i am coming of a round about or a tight corner for example in second gear coming of a roundabout when i put my foot down it cuts out and the engine dies then picks up again once straight?

it always seems to be when cornering i have given it a full service today new plugs, coil packs looked ok, oil/filter, oil level is fine.
Tried Full tank of fuel and on empty no difference
Had boost gauge fitted boosting as it should no over boosting etc

I am going to try fuel filter tomorrow but am really stuck apart from that no ecu codes or anything?

Does anyone have any ideas or tips that i can try please

Oh by the way this is my first WRX completly standard and i love it just want to get it running as it should,

Great website aswell

PLEASE HELP ME

Thanks, Tom.

Thanks for the reply not geting no noise from the fuel pump or anything but think i may change it today anyway just to be sure as it does feel like lack of fuel when under load in a corner. although i would not have thought it would fail at 40k but i will give it a try!

Thanks for the help so far,

Sounds very much like fuel surge. Try filling the tank and re-test on the same section of road.

Right Sorted it today!

Removed fuel pump and bottom filter was covered in jelly like stuff like water or bad fuel that had blocked it, removed it fully cleaned it as i could not even blow through it before i don't know how the engine was running at all!

tested and re fitted PERFECT!

Now filled tank to top aswell + a fuel treatment just to make sure everything is ok.

Can't believe it's sorted only had the car 3 days and was really getting to me so now it's driving superb and i am more than happy.

Hopefully i caught it in time and that's the end of it.

Thanks for the helps as well guys spot on

Need to decide if to add a nice exhaust and spoiler now

Thanks again, Tom.
