Is it leaking badly? Have you had the rocker covers of recently?

Use some gasket seal, this did the trick on mine after i changed my HG

If your geting oil on the drive you must have a bad leak, I used new gaskets when i did mine and had a very very slight leak, so had to use some gasket sealer.

Make sure you get a heat + oil resistant seal. Keep the old gasket on if it aint "in to bad nick" and put a good layer all around + where your plugs go.

Should do the trick, aint a hard job takes about 10mins.

yeh, if its a small leak you may get away with nipping the bolts up and smuging some gasket sealer around the bottom.

Don't be tempted to nip up the cover bolts, they are shouldered and may shear. (By al means check that they are not loose tho)

Best fix, usually permanent.
Remove cover
Clean gaskets and mating faces
Apply thin smear RTV sealant both sides of gasket and refit
Smear RTV around the bolt rubbers and nip up.

That should hold it. Worked on 3 out of 4 of my Scoobs
