what is a "modene" and where do i get 1

Question what is a "modene" and where do i get 1

been told i will need a modene for my engine renuild and dont have the foggiest of what it is.

does anyone know where to get 1 and can i get a uprated aftermarket 1

I think you mean oil modine. It is what cools your engine oil using the engine coolant to remove the heat.

You can either purchase a new one or go for a dedicated oil cooler setup with separate rad for cooling the oil.

i have seen an oil cooler setup that is intended as a front mount cooler but i was thinking of placing it under the boonet scoop as i am getting an fmic will this work

Yes mate. People hang them off the front strut brace. Get cold air from the scoop.
