Default 99 rear brake pads

hi,i have a uk 99 impreza turbo wagon t reg,it has 4 pot calipers on the front,im looking to replace the rear pads and im unsure which ones to order,my question is.... on the rear has my car got the single pot calipers or the 2 pot calipers? its late 99 and i believe im on the year of change?

nope, single pots.
The change came in 2001 with the bugeye

so what calipers did the pre 99 have?

The rear calipers on my standard MY99 saloon are definately single pot.

Single pots, same as yours.
As stated above your car is a classic, the only classics I think that came with 2 pots rears are the R180 JDM typeR/RAs, even then I'm not 100% on it.
But one thing I am sure of is that yours has the weak single pot brakes.

The change over happened at bugeye, as I said
