1:Yes imo
2:Will have to be converted to front entry
3:Yes
It is off an Impreza as if it's off an Evo it won't fit.

doesn't matter if it's a L plate as both UK and import saloons had TD05s as standard

yes imo
My mate (a subaru mechanic) converted one to front entry and runs it on his 98 UK turbo 2000 (forged engine though, hdi boost controller plus a few fuelling mods) and hits about 320bhp

Brakes are still 2 pots on your car so i would personally look at investing in a set of late model 4 pots of brembos off newage STIs but this will incur you spending money on bigger wheels.
I would do this before getting more power.
remapping your car is a big expense as you need to buy a replacement ecu as yours isn't remappable at the mo have a look here for some prices

I would expect so first though check you don't already have better brakes (4 pots have SUBARU embossed on them and Brembos have brembos written on them possibly just as a sticker)

They are 4 pots may be worth putting on a set of Goodridge braided hoses as well (about £50)
