Just brought myself a 06 Blobeye STI on friday
, my first subaru i was wondering doe anyone know what oil subaru dealers use as standard when they service them?

Whats the best oil, fully synt or semi? i want to replace it with the best stuff at the next service

I think std fitment for your vintage is 5W-40 (Shell Helix semi-synth
), but any oil with a 'Winter' viscosity of 5W, 10W or 15W is okay, while the 'hot' viscosity should be 40 or 50 (modern 60s are considered too thick for today's motors - ask Oilman).
A 100% Ester Fully Synth is what the flat-4 needs e.g. Millers, Silkolene, Motul, etc.
