abs light help urgent

my friend is at santo pod at mo and the abs light has come on on his 97 sti any ideas as to what this is about?

he has a ABS problem, im guessing a failed sensor

tell him to break it and sell me hes headlamp and bonnet

No as Ginge says, ABS problem, and the chances are that it is a sensor, stones can damage them, you need it on a diagnostic machine to point out which sensor has gone though.
