Default Induction kit for WRX - Any advice?

I'm thinking of fitting an induction kit as a first engine mod to my 54 blob eye WRX and would be grateful for any advice. I have been told the powertec version sounds great until high revs?
P.S Had car from new but 1st time on your site so bear with me!

K & N Panel unless you're going for in excess of 450Bhp! Litchfield use the Panels on their Type 25s so good enough for me!
