anybody know what resistor i should be using for my egt sensor as i dont fancy drilling it back into my decatted up-pipe?

you will need to fit a 2.2k ohm resistor, just fitted a new up pipe on mine yesterday and it didn't have the bung for the egt sensor in it

 

mines all out ready up pipe comes tomorrow so if it has hole just bung it with a bolt? and then get the resistor 2.2k ohm and solder or fit to the other end of the cocket is this correct

 

if it has a bung in it then i would put the egt sensor back in if not then fit the resistor to the socket in it's place

 

i wouldnt bother putting the sensor back in as its only there to monitor the exhaust temps so it doesnt get too hot and kill the cat, so if de-catted it would be of no use.
