remove the cap..

turn the injector breaking the seal where it hasn't moved for a while..

turn the injector so the tail sits over the bolt hole and gentle prize up with a screwdriver

I have previously been using a set of nylon jawed pliers but seem to have major issues getting them to pop out so will give this a try - thanks.
Is there any significance of aligning the tail with a bolt hole? or is it just to give you somewhere to lever on.
