Help car started missing and hunting
just travelled back from kent on a flooded m25 feels like something has got wet but looked under the bonet all is dry the car is missing the undertray though. and the inner plastic arches got given them withthe car but never fitted them yet was planning to do over the weekend but snowed in so to speak
if you put your foot down feels like overboosting on idle it is hunting and getting ready to stall

Dont know how delicate the MAFs are on your MY but that would be my next port of call, try unpluging it whilst the engine is running and see if there is a difference Its obviously sucked a good amount of water through so i would just follow the air intake through and check for any other puddles. Hth.
On a side note, i would of stuck with the OE box and fitted a KnN or Green panel filter, the HKS will not draw the same cold/dense air as the OE box as it is subject to under bonnet heat, hence you may lose some power

i see if all else fails i will put the air box back in just tried unpluging made a load of difference car ran like a pile of poo. plugged back in now idling ok but when you hit 3/4k feels like overboosting car just hits a brick wall then you get a pop sounds like it is hitting the rev limiter but only when under load fine if you hold the revs when the car is not moving
