Default turbo water hose leaking

turbo water hose that feeds back into the header tank, seems to perishing or needs a new clip as it is leaking coolant under pressure.

Can i replace it with any old pipe from my local motar part wholesaler or should i replace like for like and give subaru a call?

(thinking it may be a specila pipe to take extra pressure or something)

coolant is pressurised, the cap releases at whatever its set to and overflows to the small tube behind the N/S/F light.
I would replace it with coolflex or whatever its called out the demon thieves catalogue.
Its spiral wire wound to prevent bellowing and its also flexible enough to go round corners without crimping.
I see no reason why normal coolant pipe from halfrauds wouldn't do the job but I can remember if it follows a straight route or goes round the houses.

Thanks for the reply. The pipe is shaped but no idea why as its not bending round anything in particular.

Will have a look at the demon site and go from there. the pipe must only be 8in long so not gonna break the bank if i dont have to.

Thanks for your help.
