I had a new cylinder head fitted (at 37,000) under waranty three weeks ago. I have done approx 2000 miles on the new head and a measured 3.5 litres of mobil 1 supersyn has been consumed. Is this level of oil useage typical or should I be reporting it to Subaru? I do not recal the car being this oil thirsty prior to having a new head fitted.
