But what about the engine light coming on in the dash?
Should I put the sensors back into the exshaust and reconect them?
Sorry for sounding stupid but never done this kinda thing before always had older motors without ecu's

The remap will remove the MIL event for the 'cat' failure and EGT error that you would get. The downstream sensor needs to be in the decat anyway as its used to trim fueling.

This is your first car built after 1993? That's going some!

Not my first car since 93' but the first toy as I used to be into bikes and just drove the misses car when I had to,
Getting to old for superbikes and to much traffic on the roads to have fun anymore.
