Question

Don't know whether anyone can help me before I have to ask my dealer..

When I start my car turn over is very slow before the engine catches, and this causes the alarm to go off briefly - I don't have to disarm it, it jsut chirps a bit. No warning lights (battery light stays off as well). Its definitley worse on cold mornings.

So, is the alarm going off due to the battery taking all the load to start the engine. Is it likely to be battery related, or leads? Car was serviced in Dec with no probs.

Thanks for any advice.

This may be relevant if you have a Sigma M30 alarm fitted.

Before you go buying a new battery, have a quick look at my thread on the Sigma alarm. Read the last post.
