Default should i put standard air box back on

had my 1992 wrx on the rolling road yesterday and it ran 296bhp and 296 lbft torque at 1.1 bar . with a blowing manifold ,with the following mods just thinking if i would get a little bit more out of it with the standard air box and a good panel filter

japspeed turbo back exhust 3inch and bell mouth
boost controller/ turbo timer
apr fuel pressure gauge
walbro 255 pump
japspeed headers
td05 turbo
induction kit
polar performance ecu chip

ngk 7 plugs
bugeye intercooler and tray

any advice would be helpfull im happy with 296 bhp just not sure about the induction kit come the warmer weather ha ha

IIRC Harvey makes a template out of cardboard, then uses carbon fibre wrapped in heat reflective material.

Think this is his template (may be wrong though)

Not the best piccy as it's blurry.

It may be easier to use the standard airbox but if you've got the time give it a go.

Depends which IK you have ,i have an Apexi one which has a metal tube that the relative hoses attach to. i'm not sure if any others do.

Apexi and K+N ,imo BUT if you're not going the fmic way possibly better just to refit the airbox and good panel filter as it will save you having to spend about £100ish on a new IK.
Results are good as i expect it's quite chilly up north.

Or you could wait till it gets warmer then have it rolling roaded again and see the what results you get.

Wouldn't say particularly different or noticeable to drive tbh but it's in a better position than any of the other IKs you can buy (i.e. basically the same position as the standard airbox).
only thing really is a bit more induction noise
