Default Suspension advice

Want to improve the handling of my 99 plate turbo - has prodrive suspension kit from near new and I feel it handles awfull. Had a Clio cup 172 before that and a Sti prodrive UK and they both handled so much better.

Do I get new roll bars, bushes, drop links etc - or now dampers springs. Car has done 64,000 and has not been thrashed - have owned it since it had 30K on it. Are all the whiteline products worth it - or do they seem to get good reviews because at the end of the day you are replacing old bit with new. Would standard new anti roll bar bushes and drop links be as good.

Please help - do not want to waste money. Car is soft and rolls loads, steering so light - had enough after 4 years of ownership. Don't want to get rid though as is ace - aprt from the handling when pushed.

Probably better starting with a four wheel suspension alignment check done, I get mine checked twice a year, but if I have noticed the handling falling off and got it checked and adjusted it made quite a difference. Whilst there ask them to check the suspension bushes as the go soft and if one has collapsed that will really upset the handling. I have fitted powerflex poly urethane all round after fitting tein suspension and it made a great difference.
Hope you get it sorted soon, Steve

I money is tight do the bushes anyway and see if it helps.

Dampers could be tired, mine have done 42,000 over 7 years and I think they are past their best.

Coil-overs are an option for a "toy" car, then add ARB, drop-links and ALK.

Spend lots smile more !

I'm skint !
