Default Rockerarm swap?

Hi folks

I wonder if anyone knows if it is possible to 1. Modify SOHC EJ22 hydraulic rockerarms, to the mecanical (screw/nut model) used from -97 and on.
Wonder if it is possible to tap them and and fit a screw and nut?

2. Or it is possible to take the new mecanical rockerarms from a EJ22/EJ25 from -97 and on...and simply replace them?

I am rebuilding a EJ22 from -90 and just want to get rid of the hydraulic lifters and go for the mecanical adustable ones...would be very happy for help and advice...and where to buy them.

Thankz
