Are uprated actuators worth their money?

£125 for a forge jobby
Subaru Forge Adjustable Alloy Actuator IHI VF34 GDB Non Spec-C

anyone running one? opinions?

Just watch the strength of spring you get, they come with the green one as standard, which is around the same strength if not weaker than OEM. They're good in the respect that you can adjust the pre-tension on the arm and change the spring strength pretty easily.

so if purchasing - get one with a stiffer spring?

Depends what result you're after, it could be it could be surpluss to requirements.
