I have recently acquired a 2003 WRX PPP and noticed the coolant level was just below the minimum mark. I went to the stealer and bought a litre pack of "Glycoshell" coolant, standard fitment I believe for these cars.

I mixed it to 50/50 as recommended by the handbook and found it to be exactly the same colour as whats already in the tank. Only problem is that I couldn't add that much through the rad inlet. It just stayed on top unless I squeezed the rubber pipe a number of times.

Green as far as I'm aware. It's quite tricky to get hold of though for some reason (well at motor factors etc)

I did find some the other day but it's like a dark green where as the coolant in my wagon and other imprezas I've seen is like a fluorescent green.

you can use any colour if you are filling from empty after a flush. i use 50/50 pink in my 93 wrx. from halfords. was green/brown! hence the flush.
