help!!!!!

The engine check light is flashing on my 98 classic and i wondered if anyone knows what could cause this, it has never done it before.

It could be a number of things, I take it you still have the same power? Meaning it hasn't gone into limp mode.
Take it to your local friendly garage and get them to plug it in for a diagnostics.

run the self diagnostics on it. av a search 4 it, will xplain how 2 read cel to get codes and reference to a table for error
