Ok Guys as the title says. Today was my day for my cylinder to die, started her up left her to warm, drove to the gas station and on my way home i realised the car was a bit unresponsive. Went to my mechanic and checked it, found #3 had no compression loppy uneven idle, and the car had gone into safe mode, and alot of gas was in cylinder 3 sprk plug lead, SUCKS!!!. Have any of you had this problem, and whats the worst case scenario. I need your help/info. It sucks being me right now..

 

Yes! you're not alone, I share the pain!

Worse case scenario is your ring lands are broken and the bore on no.3 cylinder will be damaged. At best you could hope for valve problems.

My engine will be out today and I'll start stripping it to find the problem. On my new engine I'm going to be doing a parallel fuel mod (incase it's been caused by no.3 being lean, detting and destroying the ring lands)

 

Oh man, today my engine should be pulled also, so hopefully I shall see the extent of the damage
