Default which ECU to buy

I am looking at getting a remap for my 97 uk impreza so this means a new ECU, Any ideas which ones are good and wat to stay away from and does a Apeix comander do the same thing?

An Apexi ECU is fine if properly mapped. The commander enables your girlfriend to scramble all the settings while you're getting the Mac D's !
Lesson one, have it professionally mapped, then hide the commander.

Other than that, Simtek, as it's proven to be reliable, and a number of top tuners around the country can deal with it. Along with us..

Take LinkEcu, these have good base maps, good to start tuning.Have autotune feature.
