Default Interior light....do I have one???

As above,do I have one ? I got in to my 02 bug last night and noticed that when I opened the door no light came on.I cant remember if it ever did Iv'e tried both the passenger and drivers doors and still no light, although a light on the dash does come on showing the doors are open.I can switch the lights on manually but shouldn't they come on automaticlly Is there a switch somewhere that can turn this function on/off or do I just have to live in the dark

Usually its a 3 way switch, on, off and set to come on when the doors open.

Actually on my blob, when you press the key to unlock the doors then the light comes on

Yep 3 position switch. Leave the switch in the centre position then it will come on when any door is opened.

I cant see any switch There are two lights, one for passenger and one for driver which can be turned on individually via a push button next to the light, but no three pos switch....I assume if I did have one it would be next to the lights

Only kidding fella, lol

While you're thinking about the courtesy light, and the two map-reading ones near the rear-view mirror, why not upgrade to the LED style festoon bulbs for a cleaner, whiter light (god, I sound like a Daz ad )...

Yeah, that's why I stuck with the WHITE style LEDs which give a very subtle blue glow, due to their whiteness (if you see what I mean)... But mainly white.

That link is for the white ones, not blue.
