Help with spec please??
hey all i have a spec list for a 2.5 conversion or a cdb 2.0 conversion i am wanting to do, now i have a few questions but first the spec list
2.5 spec list
Semi closed deck or closed deck 2.5 block
Forged pistons and rods
Acl or simalar big end, small end bearings
Uprated oil pump
Sti 9 or simalar strength crank shaft
Uprated head bolts
Steel head gaskets
Heads modified to fit block and ported and polished
Unequal length headers uprated
550cc + injectors
Apexi fc commander or simalar ecu
Uprated clutch
Sti gearbox and diff (close ratio or 6 speed)
Uprated fuel pump
TD05 18/20g turbo or better md321h
Front mount intercooler
8 pot ksport brakes front, 2 pot rear brakes.
White line anti lift and drop links
Induction kit
Light weight veriner pulleys
Uprated cambelt kit
2.0 spec the same apart from not requiring heads modified
Right my questions are with this bearing in mind i am looking for around 450hp but dont want everything working at its limits:
1. Will the sti classic close ratio gearbox handle this??
2. Will the turbo and injectors be at full pressure??
3. Will the suspension be able to still ampabley control the car without modification??
4. Will i require anything else such as uprated cams to reach my 450hp
5. Will my uk2000turbo my97 heads be able to peform up to this with simple port polishing or will i require sti heads and will these work on my intake manifold.

1 - may be lucky or maybe not, will prob not last long.
2 - 20g wont do 450 as i understand, 550's wont do 450bhp
3 - worth changing for the extra cost
4 - not sure
5 - not sure
