turbo on it's way out
the turbo on my96 facelift import sti ra is whining what would be the best turbo to replace it with and where from any ideas

How much you looking at spending mate and what other mods do you have to support a bigger/better turbo ?

It may only need a rebuild though...bearings and turbine shaft cleaned/de-coked.

it's got a front mount intercooler and high flow fuel pump still boosts fine and no smoke but whine appeared yesterday just as turbo starts to spool
