Default Turbo advice please...

Can anyone please give me some advice about making sure that I cool the turbo down on my 1998 WRX Turbo properly. Need to know if driving the car at very low revs five to ten minutes away from home is enough to cool the turbo down or do i still need to tick the engine over for a while when I park up, as i never really hammer the car anyway. Also, what revs does the turbo really kick in and then start cutting out again as I am new to these cars. Cheers.

off boost for a mile or so before your destination.

Look at your rev counter and then make a note of when you feel the boost cominh in (possibly about 3K) then some goto redline, some drop off before it

Driving 'normally' through town for a couple of minutes is enough. There's no need to let the engine run when you park up.
