Default funny noise

just wondering if anyone has come across this before, just finished rebuilding my engine and got it started for the first time today, its had a new crank and bearings, everything else is original, now its making a strange noise,at 2000 rpm it has a slight vibration and growling noise, now its only slight but its there,at idle its fine and above 2k its fine,i just cant put my finger on it,car is a my99 turbo 2000,thanks.ps it never did this before the work was done, its running its original pistons and rods, just the crank thats been done.

Could be anything if the engine has been apart tbh -
Main bearing/big end oil clearances excessive ??
cam belt tensioner ??
Front pulley incorrectly torqued up ??

or even the exhaust rubbing on the body and causing the vibration, worth a look at.

ive just been out having another look, its coming from the front of the engine in the timing belt area,it sounds like its coming from where the tensioner is,to best describe the noise it sounds like when a timing belt cover is not secured properly and it vibrates at a certain rpm, although i know its not insecure.
