This has probably been done to death, but could someone please explain in laymans terms what are the differences between the classic WRX's & STi's?

A friend of mine says the WRX is more powerful, but after searching here ive found that (if im right) the STi has the better engine?

Which is the better overall car?

Your friend is wrong about the WRX being more powerful (that did make me chuckle).

The STI is the better car especially from the V3 onwards.
