bluddy speedo cable...
its just took me 2.5 hrs and most of the skin on my forearm to get the botom speedo cable off my MY95 WRX
....not a chance in hell of getting the new one back in!
gonna have to pop down to a garage to get them to put it up on ramps for access from underneath
(cant use my ramps as the car is too low to drive on them!)
mental note: take it to a garge straight away next time!

slacken the bolt that holds shield on the fluid reservoir which is directly where you need to put your hand down to refit
that gives a little more room for your forearm
i did one boxing day and found rejoining the 2 bits of cable with that stupid clip the most difficult bit

and the moral of the story: I took it to a friends garage; putting it on the ramps and working from underneath took a total of about 4 minutes...including getting it on the lifts
