Default ECU Help needed.

Hope some one can help. Ive got a MY02 bugeye and my engine check light has come on. Took it to local scooby dealer (Lisburn, Northern ireland) and the say they cant access the ecu. They want the car for a couple of days to see if they can find the falt, (at obvious expence) Any one had this problem, or suggest a nice bloke that can DIY it for me.

Not to my knowledge. Car runs fine with out any glitches. feels smooth and power seems fine. They say they can access ABS and Air bags but nothing else
