Default running problems

I own a 94 wrx which has been mapped on a pfc..
After the mapping was done a fuel leak was found and cured this made the car run slightly worse with the cel light coming on.. on the way home it blew the lamda sensor clean out ..the hole is now blocked but the car now struggles to pass 4,000rpm and the boost keeps going all the way untill off the gauge very scarry stuff if i turn the boost off it with rev through
1)any ideas on this massive surge of boost
2)is it going to mean having the car mapped again or can it be tweaked

have heard in the past of issues on the older apexi fc's losing the saved map.....how common this is I'm unsure.

if it is just that then whoever mapped your car should have it saved to flash back onto your ecu......and check fuelling and det again to be safe.

....do you have a commander? if so you can look at some of the setting it has now and compare to the apexi fc base map to see if they are the same. (someone here will be able to tell you some of the base map settings)

if it has no lambda then the std ecu will run poo if at all!

(I'm guessing the pfc was mapped to open loop for low load, idle, cruise etc.?)
