Hi speedo suddenly stopped working, anybody know is it cable driven from gearbox, if so is it accesible from under bonnet or from under car. my 04 sti.

has the box been out recently, on mine 03, take the intercooler off,locate the gearbox dip stick (turbo side) just to the left of the dipstick there is a plug(on the box) unplug this and clean both plug/sensor out with brake cleaner dry it and refit .worked for me .
