Guys waiting on a remap.

I have installed the following

DECAT UPPIPE NO EGT SENSOR
TD05 16G
NGK 7BSPARKPLUGS

The car is not holding boostand is jumpy,on idle it seems its nearly cutting out(but not) and in general the timing seems out

I have not reset the ecu and engine light is on(prob down to decat uppipe)
Is this normal untill remap?
I shall be driving off boost untill map

disconnect the egt sensor and fit a 2.2k ohm resistor over the connection point i have a pack of them here if you want one pm me then after a number of starts should sort itself out

I fully removed the EGT SENSOR mate....bad idea?

I would say so IMHO!

 

oh right just over the sensor point! ( in the engine bay where the connection initially comes from)

your pm box is full 290

removing it is the best thing if you have decatted the up pipe as per mr forrest recommendations as its only for saftey incase your cat gets too hot and breaks up taking out your turbo so no cat means no need for the sensor.
