Default boost proble

hi i have a 1997 gc8 scoobs and i am having problems with the boost. i am running it at .8 bar and it feels like it is restricting when i put my foot down hard if you build it slowly it is fine is there a way around this problem please i have tried adjusting it down and it still seems to do it when you accelerate hard please help!!!!!!!!

What have you adjusted?
there a quite a few causes for boost problems (plugs,coilpacks,maf,air leaks etc)

all i have done is tried to turn the boost pressure down at the moment

the needle on the boost gauge goes wild it seems to hit a restrictor. well that is what it feels like

Sorry what i should have said is HOW have you adjusted the boost.
What year car and what mods have been done to it?

using a manual bleed valve. also do you know the location of the obd port it is a 97

OBD port is under the steering wheel i think but you need to use a Select Monitor to read it.

As said above many causes, personally i would start by checking ALL the pipework for cracks leaks disconnections. I also had the spring stick in my MBC (it was stuck on the thread), hence you could wind it out with no effects being felt. Hth.
