Default maf sensor

HI ALL....
can anybody help. need to know if my maf is us,

drives and revs like a new car, but when she,s warm and idleing . the revs keep going up and down like mad,, somebody told me it was the maf,,,just trying to find out if there are any test,s or reading i can take to conferm it is the maf sensor, before i go and buy one. as they are a bit £££££..any help would be greatfull..also the best place to get one..

what year?

if 99/00 then possibly..

check dump valve is not leaking on idle.. especially if a vent to atmosphere one

HI ..
yea she,s 2000 model.

ave removed dump valve and put original back on to check it aint that, but still the same,,ave checked all pipe work for leaks, all seems ok...it,s great when cold, tick,s over lovely, but when warm she,s a pig..hope this helps
