losing power for a second from 3000revs
(97 jap import wrx wagon, I think its nearly standard)
i first noticed this driving it back on the motorway.
It was in 5th and i put my foot down and accelerated,not particularly fast, from 60 mph and when the revs got to 5000 it was as if i took my foot off the accelerator then put it straight back on really hard.(i didn't move my foot at all).
The car then carried on pickin up speed but it seemed to be surging slightly.
I've been driving the car over the last couple of days and have noticed that it happens in other gears as well but not all at 5000revs.in 3rd i think its about 3000.
what does this mean??
