Can i change my wheel studs without removing the hub from the actuall hub carrier? i will take the hub off the car but i dont fancy having to press out the centre part etc.

You can just knock the old ones out, pull the new one in with a few washers and the wheel nut

It helps if you take the disk off, but not essential. If you put the stud your removing in the rear most position( ie 9 o'clock drivers, 3 o'clock passenger) you can reach the stud with the brakes still fitted. Mine has no ABS, so if yours has, may be more hastle.

Some spanner monkey in a tyre fitters chewed the thread on one of my studs/wheel nuts, using the air gun (FFS, why can't they use a torque wrench! ). The stud was supplied and replaced by Zen Performance.

Also, do a search "subaru stud" on eBay - have seen them on there too..
