If I wanted to return a car to standard that has a PE chip is it simply a matter of removing the piggy back board? Or does the actual Sub chip get altered too?

Does the map stay in the PE piggyback board once power is removed? IE: can I stick it back on and retain the same map later or do I have to revisit PE for a remap?

Why not ask Power Engineering?

What year is your car, I may be interested in the daughterboard if you get it removed?

Thanks Andrew.

Just hoped someone here had done it and had an opinion. I will ring them this afternoon.

It is currently on a 95-96 STi 2.
