Default Rocker cover gasket.

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend due to lack of internet access, but it seems the drivers side rocker cover gasket (if that is what it is classed as on a boxer engine ) is leaking oil. Are there any D.I.Y. tricks and tips on replacing this?

Hi, when fitting the new one, put a dab of gasket sealant in the corners by the cam seal, they are prone to leaking there.
It's a bit of a messy job, oil tends to sit in the head. Jacking the side your changing helps run the oil away from the cover.
